Rampel Captures $25K PLO At 2021 Poker Masters
Miles Rampel, a freshman at Poker GO Studios with no previously recorded live cache, won the event #9:25,000 Fort-Limit Omaha at the 2021 Poker Masters for $365,500. Rampel won first place in 43 entries, beating AP Louis Garza in a head-up play.
After the win, Rampell talked about how he ended up with this breakthrough victory in poker before turning up for Las Vegas.
"I've been playing unlimited games for 1-2 and 2-5 for 10 years, starting with college," Rampell said. "I went to UCSB and played small buy-in games at the Chumasi Casino, which cost me up to $1-2. I started playing PLO this year and I really enjoyed it. It's fun to think about it a little bit more. Then my friends and I impulsively came to Las Vegas and saw the competition here. I thought, 'You know what, I'll take a shot.' On the morning of registration, I was hemming thinking I didn't want to start the journey, and I stayed at $25,000 because everything was professional, but I said, 'You know what? I'll sign up.' There were a lot of twists and turns." 파워볼게임
Garza moved to No. 1 on the 2021 Poker Masters leaderboard with a second-place finish and leads the race for the Purple Jacket.
