Rivers Casino Schenectady Poker Room Reopens

Rivers Casino & Resort Shenectady today announced the reopening of poker rooms on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Rivers Casino poker rooms have been closed since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020. The poker rooms are open daily from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.

"One of the most frequently asked questions is when will our poker rooms reopen, and we're excited to announce today that it will finally be back," said Rick Richards, general manager of Rivers Casino & Resorts Schenectady. "Poker rooms are very popular and a big part of having a fun and exciting gaming experience at casinos, and we couldn't be happier to reopen them for our guests."

The Poker Room is the last of the casino's major gaming amenities to reopen since the casino reopened in September 2020. It joins casino gaming venues with slots and live table games and Rivers Sportsbook to provide guests with a complete gaming entertainment experience. Rivers Casino Poker Rooms includes 16 tables and offers a variety of poker games.

Managing poker rooms is Elliott Zector, who spent nearly three decades as a dealer, room leader, and tournament director across the country, including Nevada and Florida, and most recently Ohio and Michigan. For the past decade, Elliott has been a "Call the Floor" columnist and contributing editor at Anter Up magazine. While awaiting approval by the New York State Gaming Commission, Elliott is planning exciting promotions for poker rooms during American football games, including the Bad Bit Jackpot, the High Hand Jackpot, and the fun, new sports-themed hot seat promotions.    바카라사이트

Rivers Casino's current daily hours are from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. Downtime is being used for intensive building-wide deep cleaning in addition to continuous disinfection throughout the day. Masks are optional for fully vaccinated guests. Guests who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 or who are only partially vaccinated will be required to continue wearing masks.
